Through the partnership, employers that opt in can make verified employment and income information available through Checkr. The integration expands Checkr’s verification network, enabling millions of employees to verify their employment and income instantly when applying for a job, a loan, an apartment, or a government benefit—without adding work for HR teams or requiring employees to track down documents. The partnership builds on Checkr’s continued investment in verification, further strengthening its capabilities across tenant, mortgage, employment, and government use cases.
Employment and income verification plays a critical role in many high-stakes decisions. In mortgage lending, for example, it helps determine whether a borrower qualifies for a loan, making timely access to that information critical to keeping the process moving. In most cases, Fannie Mae requires lenders to verify a borrower’s employment and confirm it within 10 business days prior to the note date. By connecting Checkr with Workday, employers can reduce the burden of responding to individual verification requests while giving lenders faster access to the data they need to keep underwriting moving.
