dxFeed, a global provider of market data and financial technology solutions, announced plans to make EuroCTP, the EU’s first consolidated tape for shares and ETFs, available to its clients following the service’s planned launch on September 14, 2026.
For brokers, trading platforms, wealth-tech providers, and analytics firms, accessing a comprehensive view of European equity markets has traditionally meant sourcing data from multiple exchanges and trading venues, managing separate licensing arrangements, and building infrastructure to normalize and consolidate fragmented datasets. EuroCTP is designed to fundamentally simplify this model.
The service will bring together data from approximately 130 sources across European trading venues and publication arrangements, creating a single consolidated view of trading in EU-listed shares and ETFs. Through dxFeed, clients will be able to access this data as part of a normalized market data environment, without having to build and maintain dozens of individual integrations.
One Feed Instead of a Fragmented Market Data Stack
European equity liquidity is distributed across multiple exchanges, multilateral trading facilities, and other execution venues. For firms building trading applications, analytics platforms, investment products, or market data services, creating a comprehensive view of that market can require significant engineering and operational resources. EuroCTP introduces a common consolidated layer across this fragmented ecosystem.
By making EuroCTP available through dxFeed, clients will be able to integrate a single feed rather than independently sourcing, processing, and normalizing data from numerous European venues. This can significantly reduce the infrastructure required to support European equity data while making it easier to incorporate broader market coverage into existing products.
A New Reference Point for European Markets
EuroCTP will also include the European Best Bid and Offer (EBBO), providing a consolidated reference for the best available bid and offer across contributing EU trading venues.
For brokers and trading platforms, the EBBO can serve as an important reference point for execution quality, benchmarking, and market transparency. For wealth-tech and analytics providers, it creates a consistent benchmark that can be incorporated into pricing, analytics, charting, and investment tools.
The result is not simply another market data feed, but a new infrastructure layer that can make European equity data easier to consume and build upon.
Reducing the Cost and Complexity of European Market Data
The current fragmented model requires firms to manage multiple data sources, formats, technical connections, and commercial relationships. Each additional venue introduces integration, normalization, monitoring, and maintenance requirements.
