Allurion Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ALUR), a pioneer in metabolically healthy weight loss, today announced new publications on long-term weight loss results with the Allurion Program.
In the first study, 522 patients treated with the Allurion Program across nine international obesity centers reduced their weight, on average, by 14.4kg (32lbs) or 13.9% of total body weight in just four months. One year later, the average weight loss was 13.9kg (31lbs) or 13.2% of total body weight, equating to weight loss maintenance of 95% one year after the Allurion Balloon passes out of the body.1
In the second study, 497 patients treated with the Allurion Program at a single center between January 2020 and January 2024 reduced their weight, on average, by 14.3% of total body weight in just four months. One year later, 86% of patients maintained their weight loss.2
