The Conference Forum announced today the launch of the 10th annual CRAACO®: Clinical Research as a Care Option conference, taking place September 15, 2025 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, PA.

“Embedding clinical research in the care setting can lead to higher rates of trial participation and better health outcomes for patients. CRAACO® examines how all the necessary stakeholders – pharma, sites, hospitals, academia, CROs, and patients – can come together to address how that goal can be achieved,” said Valerie Bowling, Executive Director, Conference Forum.

The 2025 speaking faculty addresses overcoming the challenges of embedding clinical trials in healthcare systems to give more patients access. CRAACO 2025 is the only conference that brings together hospitals/healthcare systems with pharma and biotech to specifically address:

  • How pharma can better partner with multi-location healthcare networks
  • How hospitals/healthcare systems can build or integrate a research infrastructure
  • How both pharma and hospital/healthcare systems are bringing clinical trials into suburban, rural and frontier community clinics
  • How both pharma and hospital/healthcare systems are implementing innovative programs to overcome physician and other clinical workforce challenges
  • How pharma is utilizing AI for patient matching and EHR advancements for clinical trials

“Integrating research into clinical practice is essential for improved patient outcomes, empowering patients, greater efficiency and resource utilization, ultimately benefiting individual patients and advancing the field of medicine as a whole,” said Christina Brennan, MD, MBA, SVP, Clinical Research, Northwell, and 2025 CRAACO co-chair.
