Fingerpaint Group, 2026 Med Ad News Network of the Year, announced today the appointment of Wyatt Gotbetter as president of market access. The hire deepens Fingerpaint Group’s integrated market access capabilities, adding senior strategic leadership to a platform built to serve clients across every stage of development and commercialization.
Gotbetter will lead Fingerpaint Market Access, The MYND Group, and BlackPoint Consulting Group, an integrated suite of capabilities spanning payer strategy, health economics, patient support, and launch execution.
“There are very few people in this industry who have worked market access from every angle, covering payer strategy, HEOR, and launch execution, and Wyatt is one of them,” said Bill McEllen, chief executive officer of Fingerpaint Group. “His background spans every dimension of market access globally, and he is exactly the right leader to help us go deeper for our clients at every stage of a launch.”
Gotbetter joins Fingerpaint with nearly 30 years of experience across new-product commercialization, payer strategy, health economics, and real-world evidence. Most recently, he served as global head of evidence, value, and access at Cytel, and prior to that as senior vice president at Parexel overseeing market access, HEOR, and real-world evidence consulting across rare disease, gene therapy, and other innovative modalities. Earlier in his career, he led new-product commercialization at Biogen across CNS, oncology and immunology, built the payer relations function at Boston Scientific, and served in strategy roles at BCG and Health Advances.
A recognized thought leader, Gotbetter serves as value and access editor for the DIA’s Global Forum and TIRS journals and sits on DIA’s annual program committee. He is also faculty for BIO’s Business Development program. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University, where he serves as executive in residence and adjunct faculty.
