AI network testing

VIAVI Solutions Inc. has unveiled its showcase for Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2026, highlighting the growing need for trusted partner collaboration in the AI era. At booth 5B18, the company will present advanced solutions designed to validate, secure, and optimize next-generation communications and networking environments.

As AI reshapes digital infrastructure, networks, security, wireless, photonics, and sensing technologies are converging into tightly integrated systems. Therefore, testing strategies must evolve. According to Sameh Yamany, CTO of VIAVI, validation is shifting from component-level testing to ensuring trust, resilience, and performance at scale in AI-first ecosystems.

AI Network Testing Across Five Core Areas

At MWC Barcelona 2026, VIAVI will deliver more than 30 demonstrations focused on five core solution areas. These include security and quantum-safe communications, mission-critical communications, AIOps, AI data center validation, and 6G / AI-RAN innovation.

In addition, the company will host a daily live digital twin demonstration at 4 PM CET. This session will show how multiple solution areas integrate into a complete end-to-end digital twin environment. As AI-RAN and 6G technologies evolve, digital twins play a key role in training algorithms and validating real-world network behavior before deployment.

Advancing 6G, AI-RAN and Secure Communications

VIAVI will also highlight deep-dive demonstrations covering AI-RAN algorithm training for 6G, AI data center scale-up and scale-out validation, assured Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT), Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) testing, and PQC/QKD optimization.

Furthermore, the company will present its new ePRTC360+™, a non-Cesium holdover clock capable of maintaining 100 ns accuracy in GNSS-denied environments. This innovation strengthens timing resilience in mission-critical networks.

Strengthening Trusted Partner Collaboration

As technology domains converge, collaboration becomes essential. Consequently, VIAVI is working with more than 20 partner organizations to deliver joint demonstrations. These collaborations include the AI-RAN Alliance, AWS, Ericsson, Nokia, NVIDIA, and Rohde & Schwarz, among others.

Together, these partnerships demonstrate how AI network testing, digital twins, and secure communications can operate as a unified system. Ultimately, VIAVI’s presence at MWC Barcelona 2026 reinforces its commitment to enabling secure, intelligent, and future-ready communications infrastructure.
