Ajman AI Data Center Achieves Tier III Design Validation

Khazna Data Centers has secured the prestigious Uptime Tier III Certification of Design Documents for its newest AI-focused facility in the UAE. The recognition, awarded by Uptime Institute, confirms that the design meets globally accepted standards for resilience, redundancy, and performance.

This milestone positions the Ajman AI data center as one of the most advanced digital infrastructure projects in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Advanced Infrastructure in Ajman, UAE

Located in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, the 100 MW facility has been purpose-built to support high-density artificial intelligence workloads. It includes 20 data halls, each delivering 5 MW of IT capacity. As a result, the site can accommodate large-scale AI training and inference environments.

In addition, the facility integrates advanced liquid-cooling systems. This approach supports higher rack densities while improving thermal management and overall energy efficiency. At the same time, the modular design enables phased expansion, allowing operators to scale capacity in line with market demand.

Tier III Certification Strengthens AI Data Center Strategy

The Uptime Tier III Certification of Design Documents validates that the data center’s design aligns with the Tier Standard for Topology. In practical terms, this means the infrastructure supports concurrent maintainability and eliminates single points of failure.

Furthermore, this certification represents the first stage in Uptime Institute’s globally recognized Tier process. It offers assurance that, once constructed, the facility can achieve its intended performance and reliability targets.

Importantly, the project reinforces Khazna’s broader AI data center strategy. The company continues to expand its footprint with high-performance facilities that combine density, efficiency, and resilience under internationally recognized standards.

Supporting the Region’s AI Growth

As artificial intelligence adoption accelerates across industries, demand for specialized infrastructure continues to rise. Therefore, facilities designed specifically for AI workloads play a critical role in enabling innovation.

By combining liquid cooling, large-scale capacity, and Tier III-certified design, Khazna strengthens the UAE’s position as a growing hub for advanced digital infrastructure. Consequently, this development sets a new benchmark for AI-ready data centers across the region.
