Embodied Tien Kung 3.0

The Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, also known as X-Humanoid, has officially introduced the Embodied Tien Kung 3.0. The new humanoid robotics platform focuses on openness, usability, and real-world deployment. As a result, it aims to accelerate the adoption of embodied intelligence across industries.

Built on X-Humanoid’s proprietary Wise KaiWu embodied AI platform, Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 delivers major upgrades in balance, motion control, and autonomous operation. Notably, it is the industry’s first full-size humanoid robot to achieve whole-body high-dynamic motion control integrated with tactile interaction.

Enhanced Openness for Faster Development

The humanoid robotics industry faces two main challenges. First, closed hardware systems limit flexibility. Second, fragmented software tools slow innovation and increase development costs. However, Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 addresses these barriers through improved openness and interoperability.

At the hardware level, the platform offers multiple expansion interfaces. Therefore, developers can integrate different end-effectors and tools with ease. This flexibility supports applications in industrial manufacturing, specialized operations, and commercial services. Moreover, the robot connects seamlessly with mainstream industry systems.

On the software side, the platform runs on the Wise KaiWu ecosystem. It provides comprehensive documentation, toolchains, and a low-code development environment. Consequently, complex processes become easier to manage. The system also supports widely adopted communication protocols such as ROS2, MQTT, and TCP/IP. As a result, developers can customize use cases without rebuilding core systems.

In addition, X-Humanoid has open-sourced key technologies from the Embodied Tien Kung and Wise KaiWu platforms. These include the robot body, motion control framework, world model, embodied VLM and VLA models, RoboMIND dataset, and the ArtVIP simulation asset library. By expanding ecosystem access, the company reduces technical barriers and encourages collaborative innovation.

Improved Usability for Real-World Deployment

Ease of use remains central to the Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 platform. The robot combines advanced physical performance with embodied intelligence. Together, these capabilities enable stable and reliable operation in complex environments.

From a hardware perspective, the robot features high-torque integrated joints. Therefore, it can handle high-load tasks and maintain stability on uneven terrain. Even in cluttered settings, sufficient torque output ensures consistent performance.

Furthermore, its high degree of freedom enables whole-body coordination. The robot can clear one-meter obstacles and perform consecutive high-dynamic maneuvers. A flexible torso and extended limb range allow kneeling, bending, and turning with precision. As a result, it operates effectively in confined or restricted spaces.

Through multi-degree-of-freedom coordination, the platform achieves millimeter-level operational accuracy. Collaborative calibration ensures precise joint linkage and fine motion control. Consequently, Embodied Tien Kung 3.0 meets industrial-grade requirements while minimizing errors.

Powered by Wise KaiWu Embodied AI

The Wise KaiWu universal embodied AI platform powers the robot’s autonomous capabilities. It creates a continuous perception–decision–execution loop. Therefore, the system reduces reliance on remote control and human intervention.

For high-level cognition, the robot uses advanced AI models such as world models and VLM. These tools interpret visual scenes, understand language instructions, and break down complex tasks into structured plans. Meanwhile, the VLA model and autonomous navigation system manage obstacle avoidance and precise execution.

Additionally, the multi-agent collaborative framework enables cross-platform compatibility and asynchronous task coordination. This architecture supports centralized scheduling and multi-robot collaboration. As a result, embodied intelligence moves beyond research settings into scalable, real-world applications.

Accelerating the Future of Humanoid Robotics

With Embodied Tien Kung 3.0, X-Humanoid delivers a more open and practical humanoid robotics platform. The combination of high-dynamic motion control, tactile interaction, and autonomous intelligence sets a new benchmark for the industry.

By balancing openness, performance, and scalability, the platform provides a clear pathway for commercial and industrial adoption. Consequently, humanoid robots are positioned to play a larger role in manufacturing, services, and complex operational environments worldwide.
