Zeon Chemify investment marks a strategic move to accelerate digital chemistry and automated molecular design. Zeon Corporation, through Zeon Ventures, has partnered with UK-based Chemify to speed up the discovery and synthesis of advanced materials and medicines.
Strategic Zeon Chemify Investment in Digital Chemistry
Chemify leads the digitization of chemical research. Its Chemputation technology converts target molecules into chemical code that runs on robotic systems. As a result, scientists can automate the entire Design–Make–Test–Analyze cycle.
Moreover, automation enables researchers to explore new chemical space and reduce development timelines. Chemify estimates the process can cut the time from concept to compound synthesis by up to tenfold.
Automated Molecular Design Driving Faster Innovation
Last year, Chemify launched its first “Chemifarm” in Glasgow, Scotland. This fully automated facility supports rapid molecular design, synthesis, and testing. Consequently, companies can move from code to compound faster while improving research efficiency.
The platform also supports breakthroughs in advanced materials and pharmaceuticals. Therefore, organizations can respond more effectively to global challenges such as healthcare needs, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
Partnership Supports Zeon’s Growth Strategy
Zeon has long embraced digital transformation in chemical R&D. Through the Zeon Chemify investment, the company plans to strengthen innovation and develop materials that deliver meaningful societal impact.
The initiative aligns with Zeon’s STAGE30 management plan, which targets higher revenue from growth sectors including mobility, healthcare, telecommunications, and green transformation by fiscal 2028.
By investing in emerging technologies and innovative partners, Zeon aims to help build a sustainable planet while supporting safer and more comfortable communities worldwide.
